Family Fun Factory in Branson, Missouri

Opened in 2007, the Branson Family Fun Factory is a family-owned and operated facility that offers a variety of activities for visitors of all ages. Conveniently located beside the Welk Family Theater and Resort Complex, the Family Fun Factory is just a stone’s throw from Branson’s famous Strip and easy to reach from most of the hotels in the area.

This attraction, one of the most often visited in town, actually offers three distinct attractions in one. The first is a 3,000 square foot laser tag arena, with games suitable for visitors of a variety of ages, including the many senior citizens that visit the Branson area. Groups of laser tag players may choose the game they wish to play, including Capture the Flag, Anarchy, and Tag, and may play in individual or team mode. This state-of-the-art arena features plenty of places to hide and sneak up on your opponent and is cleverly built to optimize playing fun. There’s even a spectator’s area where those who don’t wish to play can watch. The wait for laser tag can be long during peak tourist season, so be sure to register when you arrive so you’ll have time to play before your visit ends.

Branson Family Fun Factory is also home to a unique 18-hole glow in the dark miniature golf course. This indoor course is colorful and whimsical and the art work that graces each whole is quite beautiful. It features themes including The Enchanted Forest, The Dragon’s Nursery, An Undersea Adventure, and the Volcano and Treasure Room. The holes are challenging but not so challenging that little ones can’t enjoy the course as much as older visitors.

Finally, Branson Family Fun Factory offers its own game room that can accommodate large numbers of people at one time. Filled with a variety of video games and some classic games as well, the game area generally takes a back seat to the laser tag and miniature golf but is a good place to chill out after a high-energy game. It’s pleasantly air-conditioned as well.

Visitors can buy tickets that include one-time play at both the laser tag arena and the miniature golf course or may purchase tickets separately. Video games are available on a pay-as-you-play basis.

For locals or those celebrating a special day while in Branson, the facility is available for birthday parties. Catering is not available on site but food can be brought into the party room for the festivities. Parents can purchase packages that include use of the room as well as access to the activities and a few other party perks. The Family Fun Factory also welcomes groups of adults who come here as part of a corporate team building exercise.

The Branson Family Fun Factory is open daily from March through December including until midnight on Friday and Saturday evenings. Prices are very reasonable and specials are sometimes offered. The Branson Family Fun Factory gets especially crowded on rainy days so plan your visit accordingly.
