Branson Landing in Branson,
Missouri
Situated on the shores of
Lake Taneycomo,
Branson Landing is a multi-use residential, shopping, and entertainment
district that is one of the newest additions to the Branson landscape.
Opened in 2006, Branson Landing was a $420 million project and sits on more
than 95 acres, most of them with prime views of the lake and surrounding
areas. Branson Landing has quickly become a must-see destination for people
visiting the city and is conveniently located within walking distance of the
historic downtown area and just a short drive from The Strip.
One of the centerpieces of the complex is the Branson
Landing Luxury Condominiums. Providing a place to live while enjoying the
excitement that the vibrant waterfront district of the city has to offer,
these condos offer the ultimate in upscale living and feature a wide variety
of choices, ranging from one to three bedroom units with one or more baths.
Many have water views and all are conveniently located just a short walk
from the stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues found at Branson
Landing.
For short term stays, the Landing is also home to two
hotels – The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the
Hilton
Branson Convention Center.
Both offer spacious, comfortable guest rooms and a variety of amenities,
including pools, hot tubs, fitness rooms, restaurants, and more. A stay at
one of these hotels puts visitors in the middle of all the action and
provides quick access to shows, eateries, and shopping. In addition, The
Hilton Branson Convention Center provides direct access to the city’s
expansive convention venue, which offers 220,000 square feet of flexible
meeting space.
Branson Landing has indeed become quite popular with
avid shoppers. The complex features more than 100 stores and restaurants and
the shops here range from recognizable chain stores to one-of-a-kind
offerings. Shoppers will find stores like Aeropostale, Ann Taylor,
Hollister, Victoria’s Secret,
Brookstone, Famous Footwear, Claire’s, Bath
and Body Works, and many others. The shops are arranged along one long row
with a free trolley running down the center of the road to help visitors get
from one end to the other.
Guests who get hungry while shopping have a choice of a
plethora of food establishments to satisfy them. Options range from
family-friendly sit-down restaurants offering a variety of cuisine from
steaks and seafood to barbecue and pasta. One restaurant, the White River
Fish House, floats on Lake
Taneycomo! There’s also a chocolate
factory, a candy emporium, an ice cream parlor, and a handful of take-out
eateries as well. Branson visitors can also embark on a lunch or dinner
cruise on a paddlewheel boat that leaves from the dock at Branson Landing.
In the complex’s
Town Square, shoppers will
enjoy live concerts several times a month during the peak tourist season and
for special occasions during the remainder of the year. The $7.5 million
fountains also put on a show several times each day and are a joy to watch.
There’s also a pirate island-themed playground on site so little ones can
take a break from shopping.
