Horizons is a Marriott Timeshare Vacation Villa located near the Branson Landing entertainment and shopping complex, overlooking Lake Taneycomo near the downtown historic district of Branson. Located just a 15-minute drive away from the Branson Strip and its many musical shows and museums, these accommodations are suitable for everyone from individuals or couples to larger families who need units with multiple rooms.
Horizons by Marriott Vacation Club boasts 5 floors and 658 rooms featuring two different kinds of accommodations – villas and guest rooms. The largest offering is the 2-bedroom villa, which features one bedroom with a king bed and another with two queen beds. At about 1,000 square feet, this villa also includes a living room/sitting area with additional sofa bed, a dining area, two bathrooms, and a fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove top, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Dishes, silverware, and cooking supplies are included. Some of the 2-bedroom villas have just one queen bed and two sofabeds instead. The smaller 1- bedroom villa is about 800 square feet in size and includes one king bed and a sofa bed as well as the same amenities found in the 2-bedroom unit. The standard hotel rooms at Horizons by Marriott feature include a queen bed and sofa bed as well as a living room, dining area, and kitchenette with microwave and mini refrigerator. Wireless high-speed internet service is available at Horizons as well. Some villas and guest rooms also have washers and dryers.
Hotel amenities include a large pool and children’s pool on site, a hot tub, outdoor grills, and a poolside bar. There’s also a Sport Court that allows visitors to enjoy a game of basketball or other activities. The Quarter Deck arcade and game room offers a variety of vintage games like foosball and ping pong as well as many state-of-the-art video games of today. For a fee, kids can also play Junk Food Bingo or tie dye tee-shirts.
There is no fitness facility at this location but guests can visit the Ozark Mountain YMCA about 5 miles away if they wish to exercise. In addition, Thousand Hill Golf Course is less than a half-mile from this Branson hotel.
Safety deposit boxes are available at the front desk for the use of all guests and a helpful concierge is available to assist with things like making dinner or show reservations or setting up tee times at local golf courses, of which there are at least a dozen in the area.
